About Us
The Technology Council of Northwest Pennsylvania was formed in 2002 by a group of technology entrepreneurs who saw a greater vision for their industry in shaping the future of the region. As one of four technology councils in Pennsylvania, the Board quickly set about benchmarking best practices and creating elements unique to Northwest Pennsylvania. The result is an aggressive business model:

One of our goals is to bring advances in technology to the forefront of industry in this region. Over the past four years, the Technology Council has grown from an upstart nonprofit to a strong trade association addressing the information technology, telecommunications, manufacturing and entrepreneurial needs of the members. We’ve done this by bringing like-minded people together to explore technology and innovation that affects their industry.
The Technology Council of Northwest Pennsylvania serves 10 counties in NW PA: Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Jefferson, McKean, Mercer, Venango and Warren.
